1. Service provider and nature of service

Kattolaskin.fi is an online service operated by Kattolaskin.fi (hereinafter the service or we). The service operates as a referral platform: we collect roof renovation details from property owners, calculate a price estimate, and forward the contact information to our partner contractors (hereinafter contractor).

Kattolaskin.fi is not a roofing contractor and does not enter into any contract for roof repair or replacement with the customer. Kattolaskin.fi is also not responsible for the services, prices, or quality of work provided by the contractor.

2. Use of the service

By using the service you accept these terms in full. The service is intended for adults seeking a roofing contractor for a property they own or manage.

• You may not use the service for commercial data collection or competitor analysis.
• You may not submit false or misleading information.
• Automated use of the service (bots) is prohibited.

3. Price estimate and its binding nature

The price estimate produced by the service is based on the roof material and slope you provide, the estimated roof area calculated from the map, and the contractor's stated price per square metre. The estimate is indicative only and does not bind the contractor or the customer.

The final price is determined at the contractor's on-site assessment visit, for which no charge is made to the customer.

4. Relationship between customer and contractor

Kattolaskin.fi forwards the customer's contact details to the selected contractor, after which the contractor contacts the customer to arrange an assessment visit. Kattolaskin.fi is not a party to the contract between the customer and the contractor and is not liable for the contractor's conduct, pricing, scheduling, or quality of work.

Contractors are independent sole traders or companies. Any complaints or disputes should be directed primarily to the contractor.

5. Limitation of liability

Kattolaskin.fi is not liable for any indirect or direct damages arising from the use or unavailability of the service, inaccuracy of the price estimate, or the actions of a contractor.

The service is provided "as is". We aim to keep the service continuously available but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability.

6. Intellectual property

All content, design, functionality, and trademarks of the service are the property of Kattolaskin.fi or its licensors. Copying or distributing content without permission is prohibited.

7. Changes to these terms

We reserve the right to change these terms. Notice of changes will be published in the service at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

8. Applicable law and dispute resolution

These terms are governed by Finnish law. Disputes will be resolved primarily through negotiation. If no settlement is reached, disputes will be resolved in the general courts of Finland.

Consumer customers may also refer the matter to the Consumer Disputes Board .
